Arizona Corporation Commission – Online Services

Arizona Corporation Commission

In May 2018, the Arizona Corporation Commission released a major update to their website’s online services.  Users can create an online account, submit and manage documents for new formations, annual reports, and other organizational information changes.

This system provided by Arizona Corporation Commission is helpful for entities that represent multiple groups (e.g. a registered agent) as it allows the user to follow an entity and it tracks the documents submitted and provides the status of the document all under the user’s dashboard.

However, as with any new online tool, there are some imperfections and a learning curve.  There are also some features, like the MOD account, that have not yet been properly interfaced with the software.

More importantly, the new elaborate system did not improve the processing time.  Since the system has been live, the processing time has been delayed by about a month for expedited requests and nearly two months for non-expedited requests so plan accordingly.  Processing times are posted weekly. We are hopeful that in time the processes will smooth out and the processing time will improve greatly.
